How much does it cost to stay at Beacon 44 RV Park?
Nightly rates run about $60 with electric included. Weekly stays start around $250 and monthly stays around $375, plus electric. They vary by site type, season, and length of stay. Rates are based on two guests, and additional guests are $2.50 per person per day. Campspot shows the exact price for your dates.
What hookups do the sites have?
Every site is a full hookup with 50/30/20 amp electric, water, and sewer, and WiFi is free at every site.
Are the sites back-in or pull-through?
Both. Of the 74 sites, 42 are back-in, 11 are pull-through, and 21 are super sites at 30 by 90 feet. Every site is on a concrete pad.
Is there room for my boat?
Yes. The super sites fit the camper, the boat, and the truck together. Public boat ramps are a few minutes away, and the park has a fish cleaning table and a boat cleaning station. Call the office about boat parking.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome with well-trained owners. Pets must be on a leash at all times, and owners clean up after them. Nellie's Doggie Play Area is a fenced yard just for them.
Do you have daily, weekly, and monthly stays for Winter Texans?
Yes. Daily, weekly, and monthly stays are all welcome. Electric is included in the daily rate and billed separately on weekly and monthly stays. Many guests come back every winter for the fishing and the clubhouse potlucks.
How do I make a reservation?
Book online through Campspot, or call Doug and Mary Jo at (361) 983-4247. The office is open 8 AM to 8 PM daily.
What are the quiet hours and speed limit?
Quiet time is 10 PM to 8 AM, and the speed limit is 5 mph through the entire park. The full park rules are listed on this page.
Where is Beacon 44 RV Park?
1982 W. Harrison, Port O'Connor, Texas 77982 (GPS 28.4458, -96.4293). Coming into town on Hwy 185, turn left on Byers Drive, then right on Harrison Avenue. The park is on the left, with a large sign at the entrance.
Do you have rental trailers?
The park has offered rental travel trailers for guests without an RV. Availability changes through the season, so call the office before you plan around one.
Park Rules
Good neighbors, good stays
A few simple rules keep Beacon 44 the kind of park people come back to every winter.
- Speed limit
- 5 mph through the entire park. Children are present.
- Quiet time
- 10 PM to 8 AM.
- Parking
- At your site and in designated overflow areas. Please contact the office about boat parking.
- Visitors
- Welcome, but kept to a minimum. Our first priority is our registered guests and their use of the facilities.
- Pool and clubhouse
- For guest use. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Pets
- Pets are welcome with well-trained owners. They must be on a leash at all times, and owners must clean up after their pets. Nellie's Doggie Play Area is their fenced yard.
- Children
- Must be watched by an adult at all times. Adults are responsible.
- Laundry and bath house
- Open 24 hours a day. Please leave the facilities clean after use.
- Fish cleaning
- At the designated cleaning station only. No fish, bait, or boat waste in the pond by the cleaning station, and no fish waste in the trash cans or dumpsters.
Management reserves the right to refuse service or to request the departure of anyone not in compliance with park rules. Beacon 44 is not responsible for items or property lost, stolen, or damaged.
