This site keeps things simple. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no trackers, and the only information we receive is what you choose to send us.

What this website collects
Nothing on its own. This site has no accounts, sets no cookies of its own, and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we never have. Fonts, photos, and scripts are all served from this site, so simply browsing it sends nothing to Google or any other outside company.
When you contact us
This site has no contact form. When you call or email us, your message comes straight to the park; nothing is stored on this website. We keep what you send only as long as we need it to answer you and to look after your stay, and we share it with no one outside the park. Email is not a secure channel, so please never send card numbers or other payment details by email. Payments are handled only on Campspot or by the office directly.
Reservations
Bookings are made through Campspot, a separate company with its own privacy policy and terms. Any details you enter on Campspot, including payment, are handled by Campspot under those policies. This website does not see or store your payment information.
The map on the Contact page
The Contact page shows the address and directions without loading anything from Google. The Google Map loads only if you press “Show the map”. Once loaded, your browser talks to Google, which may set its own cookies and collect data under the Google privacy policy. “Open in Google Maps” takes you to Google's own site.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and performance. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.
Links to other sites
We link to Campspot, Facebook, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and a few local sites. Their privacy practices are their own. Photos on this site that are not our own are credited where they appear and used under their published licenses.
Photos of guests
Some photos on this site show guests at the park, used with the owners' permission. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, email shrimper@tisd.net or call the office and we will take it down.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
To ask what we have on file from a message you sent, or to have it deleted, email shrimper@tisd.net or call the office.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date at the top.
Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this site. It is built with plain, well-labeled HTML, works with a keyboard and screen readers, keeps text readable against its backgrounds, and respects reduced-motion settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
